Who This Service Is For?

  • The Heavy Fog: Burnout, chronic stress, or the emotional exhaustion of "holding it all together."

  • The Busy Mind: Anxiety, health-related worry, or the persistent static that drowns out your inner voice.

  • The Low Tide: Persistent low mood, depression, or the feeling of being disconnected from your own vitality.

  • The Rite of Passage: Navigating the profound shifts of the postnatal period, parenthood, separation, or the "empty nest."

  • The Great Transition: Seasons of retirement, loss, or the unsettling periods of uncertainty where your old map no longer fits the new terrain.

  • The Unspoken History: The need for a creative and safe outlet to process emotions or events that have felt too difficult to integrate into your story.

  • The Seeker: A desire for high-level mentorship and perspective from a professional who understands both the clinical and the soulful.

Is this a replacement for my current medical or psychiatric treatment?

Is this a replacement for my current medical or psychiatric treatment? No. In line with National Law, this work is a complementary health service. My role is to walk beside you as you navigate your subconscious landscape and internal rhythms. I do not diagnose or treat medical conditions in isolation from the broader healthcare system. We work to enhance your soil, not to replace the clinical care you may be receiving for the "plant." I always encourage—and can facilitate—open communication with your GP or specialist to ensure a coordinated and safe approach to your wellbeing.

Can I ask my carer to leave while the Doctor is here?

These sessions do not replace your need for having a carer present if one is required for your baseline needs.

Likewise if an injury or accident were to occur, first aid will be provided but further medical services may need to be called or arranged.

How fees are determined?

Fees reflect the level of individualised attention, professional oversight, and ongoing support involved in this service. We do have an hourly rate, with a minimum of three hours for the first session.

For further information regarding fees, please complete the Contact Us form. We are happy to provide clarity and discuss what may be appropriate for you.

I would like to book in a session. What is the process?

If you’ve reviewed our website and believe this service aligns with your needs, the first step is to complete the Contact Us form.

Once submitted, you will receive either a phone call or an email to provide further information and discuss suitability. All enquiries are considered on a case-by-case basis and acceptance is at the discretion of the doctor.

If accepted, you will receive a follow-up email outlining the next steps, including consent forms, required formalities, and guidance on how to organise your first session. A more detailed plan will then be discussed collaboratively, taking into account your input — or the patient’s, where relevant.

Sessions may be scheduled monthly, every six weeks, or arranged as a one-off appointment, depending on individual needs and what is clinically appropriate.

What kind of qualifications and evidence support your work?

My approach is built on the foundation of 15 years in regulated healthcare, including extensive experience in mental health and neurodiversity. While "Subconscious Archaeology" is a poetic framework for deep pattern-work, the insights we use are informed by established psychological principles and biological data. I am committed to providing "clear and honest" information; I do not make "guaranteed" claims, as I believe true healing is an individual journey that honors your unique biochemistry and history.

How can Subconscious Archaeology help with something biological like PCOS or ADHD?

While PCOS (and other hormonal imbalances) or ADHD have clear physiological and neurological foundations, they do not exist in a vacuum. Your body is a sensitive instrument that records every stressor, every suppressed emotion, and every inherited pattern.

In PCOS, for example, biological symptoms can often be exacerbated by a nervous system stuck in high-alert or subconscious narratives regarding feminine identity, safety, or control. By "excavating" these hidden blueprints, we aim to lower the systemic "static" in your body. We address the emotional architecture behind the hormonal stress response, allowing your biological treatments to land in a much more receptive environment. We aren’t just looking at the ovaries; we are looking at the soul’s relationship with the body’s rhythm.

Does this replace medical treatment? Not at all. Think of this as the "deep soil" work. While medical professionals tend to the "plant" (the symptoms), we ensure the soil (your subconscious environment) is healthy, nutrient-rich, and free of the debris that prevents the plant from thriving. We provide the toolkit and insights to support the internal healing already in motion.

What about the logistics of being outdoors?

Where do these sessions take place? We believe that for the subconscious to open, the nervous system must first feel entirely at peace. Because of this, we rely on you to choose a space where you feel safe, familiar, and grounded.

This isn't about pushing physical boundaries or venturing into the unknown; it is about finding a sanctuary. This could be the quiet corner of your own garden, a local reserve you’ve walked a thousand times, or a familiar stretch of beach where the tide mirrors your internal state. If you prefer to bring nature indoors, we honour this as well by working in a comfortable indoor set-up as well.

We do not recommend going out of your comfort zone; healing happens best where you feel most at home.

What are my responsibilities during an outdoor session?

We invite you to step into these sessions with the same presence and preparation you would for a solo walk in nature. We expect you to take full responsibility for your physical well-being—this includes wearing sturdy, safe footwear, ensuring you have adequate sun protection, and bringing enough water. By tending to your own physical needs, you are practicing the very "internal authority" we work to cultivate in our sessions.

How is clinical safety managed in the wild?

While our work is soulful and expansive, it is built upon a foundation of clinical responsibility. We have a strict safety protocol in place for every session. In the unlikely event of a medical or psychological emergency, We are prepared to initiate professional protocols, which may include contacting emergency services.

Your physical and emotional safety is the container that allows our deep work to be possible.

How do we handle privacy and AHPRA standards outdoors? Even under the open sky, the professional boundaries mandated by AHPRA are strictly maintained. We treat our outdoor space with the same level of confidentiality as a clinical office. Before we begin, we will establish a mutual "privacy plan"—such as how we handle passing strangers or maintaining a quiet space—to ensure your experience remains sacred and secure. As a registered practitioner, my "duty of care" travels with us, ensuring that while the setting is natural, the standard of care is clinical.
